Textron Systems' supplier diversity programs work to promote and provide opportunity for small business, small disadvantaged business and women-owned small business concerns.

Textron Systems fully supports Public Laws 95-507, 99-661, 103-355, 105-135, 100-656, and 106-50. It is Textron Systems' policy as a prime government contractor to actively participate in the Government's Small Business Subcontracting Program.

"Textron Systems will provide Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, Women-Owned Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Minority Institutions with the maximum practicable opportunity, to participate as Textron vendors. Upon demand, the Small Business Liaison Officer shall assist make/buy boards in advising what parts and services may be purchased from Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The SBLO shall maintain reference material to assist in the identification of services provided by Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions."

The Comprehensive Subcontracting Plan describes the techniques employed by this company to comply with the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations 52.219-9 and 52.219-16.
